You must attend 3 chapter events of which 1 must be a group ride. After you have completed this requirement then you must join STAR Touring and Riding and then will be voted into the chapter by the current members. You can not paticipate in more that 3 rides without becoming a member.of both STAR Touring and Riding and Chapter 394.
Yes - the annual membership dues are $24.00 and includes membership for all members of your immediate family (wife or husband and children/grandchildren under the age of 18)residing at your address. Dues are paid in January of each year and will be pro-rated based on the month you become a chapter member. For example, if you join in July you will be required to pay 6 months or $12.00. Each month is equal to 1/12 of the annual dues.
Dues are used to fund chapter events, purchase coffee and rolls for the meeting, or to fund a pic-nic or holiday party. Any money left at the end of a year will be donated to a supported charity.
No -Not everyone can attend all functions, but to remain a member with full priveleges you must attend at least 40% of the scheduled events within a 12 month period.
STAR DAYS is the STAR Touring and Riding International Event. During this event we get together to RIDE, see old acquaintances and make new friends, but most of all to have FUN. The Yamaha STAR Line of motorcycles is featured at STAR DAYS. Most of the vendors at STAR DAYS make products for STAR motorcycles. Here is your opportunity to customize you favorite scooter. This event continues to grow. It is located in different areas each year, around the country, the rotation being central, west, and east. STAR DAYS is the largest STAR motorcycle event in North America.
